A complete hotel listing
Amenities, check-in times, parking, accessibility and pet rules filled in on Google and kept current.
Tourism Kingston counted 2.65 million visitors in 2025, and 46% of them stayed overnight. Most came from Ontario (82.3%), with 10.4% from the rest of Canada and 5.2% from the United States, so the typical guest is driving in, weighing a few options on a phone and thinking hard about where the car will spend the night.
The searches show it. They are not about thread counts; they are about setting and convenience: kingston hotels on the waterfront, kingston hotels downtown with parking, hotels kingston ontario near 401, kingston hotels with pools. Each one works as a filter, and a property that never states its answer seldom makes the shortlist.
Kingston sits between Prince Edward County and the Thousand Islands, so some guests use it as a base for both. Families visiting Queen’s around move-in or Homecoming want rooms near campus. A page for each kind of stay serves them better than one general “about us”.
Search demand
Google.ca suggestions recorded on 4 October 2026, letter for letter. Nearly every one names a place or a feature.
Waterfront, downtown, parking, pool, highway, campus: travellers to Kingston search by one concrete feature and drop anyone who stays quiet about it. Booking sites already list those details, in their words. Your own website and Google listing are where you can state them in yours, with photos, distances and the small print guests actually ask about.
Why rooms sit empty
None of them call for a redesign. They call for someone to write things down.
Downtown guests want to know whether it is on site, what it costs and whether a van fits. Vague wording sends them to a property that answered.
Wedding parties, campus visitors, highway travellers and couples on a weekend away want different things. Separate pages let each one find theirs.
An outdoor pool advertised in January, or patio breakfast in March, earns a let-down review. Update amenities as the seasons turn.
Many reservation tools produce pages search engines barely read. Room descriptions also need to live on your own site, as ordinary text.
The work
Amenities, check-in times, parking, accessibility and pet rules filled in on Google and kept current.
Waterfront stays, campus visits, highway stopovers and island trips, each with its own page.
Every room type described in text, with pictures that match what guests will find.
Minutes to campus, the harbour, the 401 and the cruise docks, measured and written down.
Reminders before FebFest, summer, Homecoming and winter rates, so pages change on time.
A plain monthly count of site visits, calls and booking clicks that came from search.
Done carefully
Every trade has its own rules and risks. These are the limits we keep to in this one.
The room a guest opens the door to should look like the room they booked.
The Competition Act prohibits misleading advertising, which is reason enough to describe views, rates and amenities exactly as they are. Google also removes reviews it believes were written by owners or bought. We present rooms, fees and settings the way a guest would describe them at checkout.

How we work
Four stages, in the same order for every Kingston client, whatever the trade.
We audit your site and Business Profile and check your positions from downtown, the west end and the towns you serve.
We pick the Kingston searches most likely to bring work and match each one to a single page.
Profile, website, content and listings are improved in order of likely payoff, timed around your busy season.
You receive a one-page summary of the month’s calls, enquiries and rankings, plus the jobs lined up next.
Questions
Those sites are useful, but they take a commission and describe you in their own words. When a guest searching for parking or a pool finds your listing first, they can book with you directly. Most properties sensibly use both.
For kingston bed and breakfast downtown, yes; the large hotels are not what that person wants. Breakfast, the history of the house and the street you are on are your strengths, so put them in writing.
If you are within reach of campus, yes. A page about move-in and Homecoming stays gives parents what they need, and Homecoming in 2026 falls on 16–18 October, the sort of date families plan around.
It can. Sightseeing cruises leave Crawford Wharf from mid-April to October, and people search for rooms near them. A short page on how to reach the dock from your door is usually enough.
In Canadian dollars, plans run $250, $350 or $550 a month, and you are not tied to a long-term contract. The top plan, Pro, includes managing Google Ads; Google bills the ad spend separately. Any redesign is a one-time quote following a look at your current site.

Any of these can be hired on its own; many clients begin with just one.
Customers look for each of these in their own way, so every page is researched separately.
